Demolition Permit Process

1. Gather Required Documentation

  • Permit application: We will ensure all sections are accurately filled out, specifying the type of work.

  • Existing Valid Survey

  • Demolition plan signed

  • Fence plan signed

  • FPL Disconnect Letter

  • Plumbing Sewer Application signed by plumber registered in Coral Gables

  • Historical Significance Paperwork stating the home can be demolished from CG historical resources of cultural arts

  • Letter of intent from owner

  • Pictures of the property

  • Warranty Deed

2. Submit Application

  • We will submit all permit applications and required documentation through the online portal.

3. Pay Applicable Fees

  • After applying, we will be notified of the required fees. We will pay them through the online portal and invoice them to you later on.

4. Plan Review Process

  • Submitted plans will be reviews by the relevant department to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

  • If revisions are needed, we will be notified to make the necessary changes and submit.

5. Permit Approval and Issuance

  • The permit will be issued automatically once the plans are approved and all fees are paid for.

  • We will be able to access the permit documents via the instructions we receive in our email.

6. Inspections

  • During and upon completion of work we will schedule all inspections required to ensure compliance with approved plans and codes.
