Demolition & Permit Process
1. Gather Required Documentation
Permit applications: We will ensure all sections are accurately filled out, specifying the type of work.
Refrigerant Recovery Form
Site Plans
Signed and Sealed Plans
Asbestos Abatement Documentation (If applicable)
Broward County Environmental Review Certificate
Scope of Work
2. Submit Application
We will submit all permit applications and required documentation through the electronic permitting system
3. Pay Applicable Fees
Permit fees are to be paid upon submittal.
A plan review fee may be required if the project is valued over $10,000
4. Await Plan Review and Approval
Once everything has been submitted and all fees have been paid, The plans will be under review.
If additional information or corrections are needed we will quickly asses them.
Once all plans and documents are approved, permits will be issued!
5. Schedule Required Inspections.
Once the permits are issued we will begin the work. There will be inspections during the process and once finalized.
Required Inspections:
Pre-Demolition Inspection
Site Safety Inspection
Final Demolition Inspection
Plumbing Disconnection Inspection:
Post-Demolition Site Inspection.
6. Commence Demolition
After initial inspections, we will proceed with the demolition and ensure we stay in compliance with the City of Tamarac.
