Demolition Permit Process

1. Gather Required Documentation

  • Permit application: We will ensure all sections are accurately filled out, specifying the type of work.

  • 2 sets of plans

  • 2 copies of the survey

  • Asbestos notification statement

  • Pest control

  • FPL Disconnect Letters

  • We will provide our Worker’s Compensation Insurance

  • Owner/Builder Affidavit

2. Submit Application

  • We will submit all permit applications and required documentation through the online portal.

3. Pay Applicable Fees

  • After applying, we will be notified of the required fees. We will pay them through the online portal and invoice them to you later on.

4. Plan Review Process

  • The relevant department will review submitted plans to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

  • If revisions are needed, we will be notified so we can make and submit the necessary changes.

  • We can monitor the status of our application through the online portal.

5. Permit Issuance

  • We will be notified upon approval through the online portal.

  • We will be able to access and download the approved permits and stamped plans through the online portal.

6. Inspections

Once work has begun there will be inspections throughout the process and once finalized.

Required Inspections:

  • Underground Plumbing Inspection

  • Rough-In Inspection

  • Final Plumbing Inspection

  • Pre-Demolition Inspections

  • Final Demolition Inspection
